  Summary

Well done for completing today's exercise.

What-spotting

It's really useful to be able to identify the main clauses in your sentences. Being able to recognise them will come in handy not only for this technique, but for others that we'll cover in later lessons.

Putting the 'what' first is just another great way of making life easier for your reader. They'll be better able to absorb your meaning if your sentences are logically structured. And, of course, making life easier for your reader is one of the best ways to make sure that what you write is read, understood and acted upon.

Below you'll find an overview of today's lesson that you can download and keep as a reminder of what we've covered.
